Welcome to my "Seconds" page. I have been having one of my clear outs and these are all the beads I have recently made that I don't think have quite made the grade. There are various reasons that I have rejected these beads from my main pages, they might be experimental beads I just didn't like the look of, or they may be a little uneven and wonky or just not fit in with the rest of a batch and so are orphans. I tend to make beads up into very exact pairs, appart from Single and Focal beads.
They are however finished to the same high standards as are all my beads. This is because I find it more convenient to finish each bead form an entire batch, removing the bead release with a diamond tipped tool and then bevelling the holes to remove any sharp edges before grading them.
There are no cracked or damaged beads in these listings, I do on occasion find such beads when I am cleaning and finishing a batch of beads, they are of course removed and put into my recycling tin.
My seconds lots I always list on eBay and sell to the highest bidder, starting at just 99p. I will make a link to the auction for these lots below as I list them on eBay, so that you can bid if you see any that you are interested in.

Item 2010 - SEC015
Mixed lot of Large "Pandora" size Hole Glass beads - SECONDS
These Art Glass Beads I have made with large approx. 5.4mm holes to then be made into Silver Core Beads to fit Pandora, Troll, Chamilia etc. . However I did not think these were good enough to have custom .925 Silver Cores fitted, especially as Sterling Silver is so expensive and I only have a limited supply.
These UNCORED beads however could perhaps have the much less expensive white metal glue in ends fitted that I have seen for sale on the internet. Or they could be used just the way they are, as plain glass lampwork beads but with much larger holes than usual....
All 16 of these beads are properly finished with holes cleaned to my usual high standards.

Mixed lot of Glass Lentil Beads - SECONDS
Item 2010 - SEC010
This is a mixed lot of 15 x Art Glass Lentil shaped beads, they also have a mixture of hole sizes from approx. 2.6 - 3.5mm. Like all my glass lentil beads the holes in these have been bevelled to accept a good fit with either small ball or bi-cone spacers. The beads are approx. 17.6mm to 19.5mm in diameter and so are suitable as small focal beads for bracelets etc...........
