2. Silver Core Beads

3.0mm Silver Core beads can be found at the end of this section.

In this section are .925 Sterling Silver Core Beads with a hole size of 4.6mm. These are compatible for inclusion on many of the popular mass produced beading systems, like "Pandora", "Troll", "Chamilia", "Biagi" etc.... These however are made using traditional lampworking techniques and are of my own designs, patterns, shapes and sizes. The glass size/amount in my beads is usually a little larger than the mass produced beads so these are probably going to be more suitable as focal beads. They are all made form the highest quality art glass (as are ALL my beads) and each has a single custom .925 Sterling Silver core fitted and finished by me personally.

So if you are looking for a unique bead to add to your jewellery then you need look no further. My beads are always made in limited numbers but I will be adding more new beads to this section as I produce them.

So do visit again soon, you may well find a bead you will like to add to your collection. I am not confined by manufacturing restraints to the same old 30 or 40 designs you will see over and over again. Generally I make the beads I feel like making at the time of making them and that can be in any of a multitude of designs and colours, as do all other artisan lampworkers.

I am presently in the early stages of learning how to put Silver Cores into my beads. As they are all handmade they will never be as refined as the mass produced beads you will be more familiar with. However these early practice beads I am selling here as slight seconds until I become more proficient at finishing them. ALL are for sale at my lowest price of only £10.00ea, and ALL come with money a back guarantee if not delighted. I will very much like some feedback from the purchasers of these early beads if at all possible, constructive criticism and any colour requests are always appreciated.

If you are interested in purchasing a Sterling Silver snake chain like this one I use here they are an additional £26.00ea + P&P, please indicate your interest by quoting SNC - 001. I do not hold a stock of these but they are usually available from my UK Silver supplier. The Snake chain is in .925 Sterling Silver and if you look closely at the photo above that shows the complete chain you will see it has a normal clasp with an additional magnetic catch and safety chain. It has a diameter of approx. 7 ¾ inches / 197mm and will accept beads or spacers with 3.6mm+ holes.

If you are interested in the spacer beads, these are an additional £16.00/pair + P&P, please quote SP - 001. They are also in .925 Sterling Silver and have a silicone interior which grips the chain. I am not sure if they are compatible with other snake chains, but they are certainly a supper addition to the particular chain they are fitted to here. Sorry, NO I do not send items out on approval.

I presently do not hold stock of these Silver items but if there is a demand for them that can change in the future. They are usually available from my UK Silver supplier and although delivery is very quick it will take a few days longer to fulfill an order that includes anything other than just my beads.

Important Please Note: These are NOT compatible with ANY of the mass produced beading systems, the holes are far too small and THEY WILL NOT FIT. Please see the section above for my beads with larger 4.6mm holes.

In this section you will find my Silver Core beads with a smaller 3.0mm hole, suitable for use with more traditional stringing techniques.

These I make for the capability to have the fabulous look and feel Silver Core beads but with a hole size suitable for the more traditional methods of stringing. A kind of best of both worlds bead, each one is produced by me in the same manner as the larger holed beads above. Each one also has a custom fitted single Core in .925 Sterling Silver, and each one is made by me personally from concept right through to the finished item.

The Torque is in .925 Sterling Silver and if you look closely at the photos you will see it has a screwable end which is easily removed to add or remove beads as desired. It has a diameter of approx. 7 ¾ inches / 197mm (can be squeezed and adjusted slightly), the wire is 2mm, so will accept beads or spacers with 2.0mm+ holes.
